Orders are shipped through reputable carriers such as USPS or UPS, depending on the destination and package requirements.
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email.
Shipping times are estimates provided by the carrier and cannot be guaranteed.
Packaging
Each piece is carefully packaged to protect it during transit and presented in packaging designed to reflect the quality and uniqueness of the artwork.
International Shipping
International shipping may be available for select locations. Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or other fees required by their country.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If your package arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery and include photographs of both the packaging and the item.
Audacia Vera is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, customs processing, or other events beyond my control.
If a package is lost in transit, I will work with the carrier to help locate it and determine the appropriate resolution.
Incorrect Shipping Information
Please verify your shipping address before completing your purchase. Orders returned due to an incorrect address supplied by the customer may require additional shipping charges before they can be resent.
Return Policy
Because every Audacia Vera piece is individually handcrafted, customer satisfaction is extremely important. Please read the following policy before making your purchase.
Ready-to-Ship Pieces
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for unused items in their original condition and packaging.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or an error occurred with the order.
Refunds will be processed after the returned item has been inspected.
Commissioned Pieces
Commissioned artwork is created specifically for you and therefore cannot be returned or refunded.
Throughout the design process, I maintain open communication to ensure the finished piece reflects your vision before it is completed.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery and include photographs. I will work with you promptly to resolve the issue.
Natural Materials
Many pieces incorporate natural gemstones, pearls, shells, or other materials. Variations in color, texture, and pattern are natural characteristics and are not considered defects.
Cancellations
Ready-to-ship orders may be cancelled before shipment.
Commission orders may only be cancelled before work has begun. Once materials have been purchased or work has started, cancellations are generally not possible.
Terms of service
By purchasing from Audacia Vera, you agree to the following terms.
Handmade Nature
Every piece is individually handcrafted. Slight variations from photographs are part of the character of handmade artwork and should be expected.

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice.
Payments
Payment is required before ready-to-ship items are dispatched.
Commission work may require full payment or a non-refundable deposit before work begins, depending on the project.
Intellectual Property
All designs, photographs, artwork, logos, written content, and product descriptions remain the intellectual property of Audacia Vera unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Orders are carefully packaged to ensure safe arrival.
Shipping costs are calculated separately unless otherwise stated.
Audacia Vera is not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs agencies, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Tracking information will be provided whenever available.
Returns & Refunds
Because commissioned artwork is created specifically for one individual:
All commissioned sales are final.
No refunds, returns, exchanges, or cancellations will be accepted after work has begun.
This policy exists because commissioned pieces cannot reasonably be resold to another collector.
Repairs
If a commissioned piece experiences a workmanship issue under normal wear within 90 days of delivery, repairs related to craftsmanship will be performed at no charge.
Damage resulting from accidents, improper storage, misuse, pets, chemicals, water exposure, or normal wear over time may be repaired for a reasonable fee plus shipping.
Care
Each commission includes care instructions.
Proper storage and handling will help preserve the beauty and longevity of your artwork.
Copyright
The artist retains all copyrights to every original design.
This includes the right to:
Photograph the artwork
Display it in portfolios
Publish it on websites or social media
Use it in promotional materials
Purchase of the artwork does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.
Photography
Unless otherwise requested, completed commissions may be photographed before shipment for archival and promotional purposes.
If the commission is intended as a surprise gift, publication can be delayed upon request.
Right to Decline
Audacia Vera reserves the right to decline any commission that:
Falls outside the artist's style
Requests reproduction of another artist's work
Contains offensive or hateful subject matter
Cannot be completed to the quality standards expected by the artist
Communication
Prompt communication helps ensure a successful commission.
If responses are not received within 30 days during the design process, work may be paused until communication resumes.
Acceptance
Payment of the commission deposit acknowledges that the client has read and agrees to this Commission Policy.
Artist's Freedom Commission
For collectors who appreciate complete artistic expression, Audacia Vera offers an Artist's Freedom Commission.
This option allows the client to provide only a few guiding elements, such as:
Preferred color palette
Desired jewelry type (necklace, pendant, earrings, etc.)
Approximate size
Budget
Optional themes, symbolism, or gemstones
From there, all creative decisions are entrusted to the artist.
The finished work will be an original, one-of-a-kind design created without predetermined sketches or approvals. Because this commission style embraces spontaneity and artistic intuition, no revisions or design changes are offered once work has begun.
Clients choosing this option understand they are commissioning the artist's vision rather than directing the design. While every effort will be made to honor the agreed-upon preferences, the final composition, materials, textures, and artistic interpretation remain entirely at the artist's discretion.
Many collectors find this to be the most rewarding commission experience, resulting in a truly unique piece that could not have been conceived through a predetermined design process.
The Commission Process
Initial Consultation
Every commission begins with a consultation conducted by email or video chat. During this conversation we will discuss:
Style preferences
Intended use (daily wear, special occasion, bridal, collector's piece, etc.)
Color palette
Gemstones or cabochons (if applicable)
Metal preferences
Overall size
Budget expectations
Timeline
Reference photographs and inspiration images are welcome. While they help communicate style preferences, no piece will ever be copied from another artist's work.
Artistic Direction
Audacia Vera commissions are collaborations.
Clients are encouraged to share ideas, themes, colors, symbolism, and inspiration. Final artistic decisions regarding composition, bead placement, textures, proportions, and construction remain at the artist's discretion.
Each finished piece is an original work of art.
Pricing
Commission pricing varies according to:
Complexity of design
Size
Materials
Gemstones or specialty components
Estimated labor hours
A written quote will be provided before work begins.
Quotes remain valid for 30 days.
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required before any design work or material purchases begin.
No work will commence until the deposit has been received.
The remaining balance, including shipping costs, is due before shipment.
Design Approval
When appropriate, photographs of the work in progress may be provided during major stages of construction.
Minor adjustments may be requested during these stages when they are structurally possible.
Because bead embroidery is built in layers, changes requested after a section has been completed may not be possible.
Revisions
One reasonable revision during the design phase is included in the commission price.
Additional revisions or significant design changes may incur additional charges.
Requests that substantially alter the original concept may require a new quote.
Completion Time
Estimated completion dates will be discussed before work begins.
As every piece is handcrafted, completion times may vary depending on:
Current commission queue
Material availability
Design complexity
Personal emergencies or unforeseen circumstances
If delays occur, clients will be notified as soon as possible.
Payment
Accepted payment methods will be discussed during the commission process.
Full payment must be received before the finished piece is shipped.
Custom Commission Policy
Thank you for considering Audacia Vera to create a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art. Every commission is designed and handcrafted exclusively for its owner. Because no two creations are ever alike, the commission process is collaborative, thoughtful, and intentionally limited.
